Wellsbourne Society Special: Brighton Creatures Sept 20th

David Bramwell

Mixing psychogeography, spoken word, music, film and slide show talks, The Wellsbourne Society (named after Brighton’s lost river), is an occasional evening celebrating the hidden history and lost stories of our town.

For this ‘Brighton Creatures’ special we welcome art historian & curator at the Royal Pavilion, Alexandra Loske, on the trail of Prince George’s pet giraffe; magician Paul Zenon with the tale of the Portslade Python; archeologist Matt Pope on the theme of ‘Extinct Monsters of Brighton’, and Rob Dumbrell, who will be revealing  exactly what does and doesn’t live in our waters.
