The Catalyst Club is a long-running and popular spoken word salon at which everyday folk share their passions with three 15 minute talks.
Topics are random but inspiring. In January we learned about the heroism of failure from musician Pete Fij (once signed to Creation records) and the history and origins of pantomime from West End director Carole Todd. Artist Becky Edmunds revealed the story of how she discovery 50 years worth of one man’s extraordinary diaries in a street in Hove and turned them into a fascinating and ongoing film project.
While topics are never revealed until the night, for Valentine’s Day it’s just possible that there might be a nod to Cupid with one of our talks…
