In February we learned about chalk grasslands of the South Downs with park ranger Tim Squire; The Latest’s Angi Mariani shared her passion for the 134 romance novels of Betty Neels (which she’s read several times) and twitcher Jerry Rolfe told the extraordinary story of the Ivory Billed Woodpecker (last spotted in 1944) and even brought one in to show (made from expanding foam).
